DIY (or "barefoot") surveying day at Whalley Forest Garden

Saturday 17th March 2012  10.00 till 4.00

Led by Angus Soutar,  Charlotte Dean and Chris Gathercole

This is an informal "hands-on" day outdoors. Please bring wellington boots. Planned activities include:

• site observation on the theme of water containment use on site and flood control
• pegging out contours to assist with site design
• how to make your survey instruments from items bought at your local hardware shop.
