Community Traders

The Northern School is a Community Trader and we are prepared to use community trader accounts to accept part-payment for our services

 

Community Traders are people who sell their skills, goods and servcies to other people in their community. They can be sole traders, companies or other community organisations. They can be running a business, trying out their enterprise ideas, or just thinking about starting up.

 

In particular, Community Traders

  • see their customers as important people in the community who deserve good service
  • charge a fair and reasonable price for their activities
  • trade within the law and pay their taxes
  • are willing to be paid, in part, with community currencies
  • share a committment to make community currencies safe and useful within their communities.
