We will run a full permaculture design course in Clitheroe during 2012. The course will be held over 12 Saturdays, one Saturday per month, starting on the 21st January 2012.
The venue is the community room at St Paul's Church, Edisford Road, Clitheroe BB7 2LT (see map)
What will we study?
The aim is to help you to make the transition to a practical and peaceful future, in the way that you want it to. You can read more about the course topics.
Who should be there?
The course is open to all - you can read more about the groups of people who have benefited from previous courses.
What does it cost and how can I pay?
The price for the complete course (12 days) is £360. We are offering several ways to make this affordable and, if the fee is difficult for you to find. you are encouraged to negotiate with us - contact us.
If you are below average income, or a supporter of Transition Towns, or you have a Community Trader account, the cash fee will be reduced to £240, and you may provide the remainder through suitable and convenient work exchange without any further cash changing hands. You may also spread the £240 payment by paying monthly, as the course progresses.
Additional bursaries may be avialable for those in financial hardship, although these will depend on the number of well-resourced people attending the course.
Venue
We are currently considering venues with good public transport links and easy car parking. Our final choice depends upon the number of people that will come on the course.
Dates
We start on Saturday the 21st January 2012. We will choose 11 more Saturdays throughout the year - if you register now, you will be able to participate in the settting of these dates.
