FOREST GARDEN WORKSHOP 29th and 30th October 2021

In association with the Calder School for Sustainable living who have provided this following information about the event.

Learn about creating and maintaining a productive forest garden of any scale using permaculture principles.  Led by Graham Bell, author of “The Permaculture Garden” and “The Permaculture Way”. Graham will share his experience from his own 30+ year old forest garden in Coldstream, Scotland and from teaching on 6 continents.

The workshop will be held at Warland Farm, near Todmorden, Calderdale, West Yorkshire (OL14 6XA) 10am – 4pm each day.

Tea / coffee available from 9:30am and an informal outdoor social event on the evening of Friday 29th.

We aim to be fully inclusive so whilst the recommended fee is £175 for both days we are willing to take knowledge, labour or resources as whole or part payment.

Warland Farm is an ancient 20 acre farm in the South Pennines, south of Todmorden.  The farm is currently being restored using permaculture principles to a site where traditional arts and crafts can be practiced. The aim of the farm is to educate visitors about the value of traditional and ecologically friendly techniques and to provide a tranquil site where people can relax in good company with good food.
