Gathering Summer 2017
We regret that, as a result of the slow uptake of places, we have had to postpone this event.
We are organising a weekend at Gisburn Forest in Lancashire from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd July 2017 to bring together friends and associates of the Northern School. On the Saturday, there will be an opportunity to learn about and discuss plans to develop an eco-village and land trust in Portugal. We are at present looking for approximately 50 investors-trustees to embark on the venture of collectively acquiring land to design the eco-village and develop right livelihoods together in southern Portugal. There will also be plenty of time during the weekend to socialise and catch up with people.
The Portugal project has been in formation since September last year and we want to make sure you don't miss out in joining us if this project appeals to you. From October onward there will be a waiting list so come along to this gathering to learn more about planned future developments and meet some of the people on board. Feel free to bring friends and family too.
We estimate the cost for the weekend will be £100 including accommodation and meals. The site accommodates 30 people and camping is also an option. Alternatively join us on Saturday only when we will offer a presentation on the project so far followed by a workshop. The day fee will be around £35.
