Gardening with Perennials

Registration is closed for this event
Gardening with Perennials Fear not growing food with permanent plantings. Learn how to design edible and medicinal polycultures by combining trees, fruit bushes and other perennials into harmonious patterns.

First, we will explore the patterns used in forest gardening and the main underlying principles that create successful communities of plants, and how you can harness the wisdom of these ecological patterns when gardening.

Next, we will investigate how to apply permanent planting schemes at different scales to design abundant and vibrant landscapes that yield food and medicine for people and wildlife.

There will be time for you to reflect on how you can apply these ecological patterns to your garden setting.

One day course £48 – Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

This is one of a series of ecological gardening day courses and workshops in the upcoming Spring programme.
